<p class="lead"><strong>A DZID is a Digital Zero-knowledge IDentity issued by the DZIT system on Polygon. It is the durable identity anchor that binds a human operator (or an autonomous bot) to credits, handles, receipts, and affiliate links across the ecosystem.</strong></p>
<h2>Overview</h2>
<p>DZIDs are created through the DZIT node. A DZID can hold DZIT credits, own handles, receive affiliate revenue, and carry FV verification attestations. The DZID — not a device cookie — is what every node uses to identify a party.</p>
